In 1971, when East Pakistan was fighting for her freedom and the Pakistan army declared Operation Searchlight which gave birth to perhaps the worst genocide of the century, a Hindu family of three crossed borders in the darkness of an April night and came in as a refugee family to India. 
 

By 1975, the family became  a force to reckon with and was soon considered as the first gang lords to emerge from Eastern India who would eventually stand tall to face the wrath and the might of the Bombay underworld.
